...which one is different, do you know?
Can you tell which thing is not like the others?
I'll tell you if it is so.

I do like me some SW20s... even if they are in an ugly paint scheme. Not as bad as that silly FWD in the middle though.

This is awesome, genuine thanks for sharing it. I love this era of race car livery and photo quality.

1) The driver in the middle does not appear to have a full face helmet.
2) They are all sitting on the wrong side of the car.
3) one spelled Toe wrong.

the two MR2's are Osborne Motorsports cars, Ric Shaw on the left and Paul Osborne in the number 13 on the right.
The photo is probably from the 1999 season of the GT Production car championships, which from what I understand were production spec apart from the roll cage. The track looks like Hidden Valley raceway in Darwin.
They're both non-turbo MR2 Bathurst models, with the 3S-GE. Running in the S class
The Camry is David Ratcliffe, it would have been the 3.0L V6 model running in the C class, 2500cc and above, I understand it came 3rd in it's class over the year, up against much faster Commodore V8's and Falcon XR8's.
Here's a couple more shots of Colin Osborne from the 2002 Bathurst 24 hour,
this last image I'm not sure what year or track it's from, found on the MR2Australia forum.

That is really cool information, especially the information on the Camry. The 4th generation Camry touring car has always intrigued me having had a 99 LE in the family for 13 years. There is surprisingly little information on the subject. I did manage to find an article from the 1998 series , reporting that Toyota won the manufacturers title for both the MR2 and the Camry. The picture in the original post is from the 1999 series, I do believe. I just found it this evening.
The 4th generation Camry also participated in another, lesser known, series: The North American Touring Car Championship. The series only lasted from 1996 to 1997, with very low participation (9-12 entrants per race was typical). From what I can gather, this Camry only ran in two races. Both of those races, rounds 7 and 8 of the series, took place at Portland International Raceway as the Budweiser / G.I. Joe's 200 on June 21, 1997. The car was run by Rod Miller.
I enjoy digging up the history of these old, forgotten racing cars and racing series'.

oh wow, it's interesting the NATCC Livery is nearly identical to the GT-P car, I thought Ratcliff's car wasn't a factory entry, but they must have had some involvement if the liveries were so close.
I'm a bit of an MR2 fanboy so most of my knowledge is related to them.
but that Camry! run by
the
Rod "King of Pikes Peak" Millen, holy crap!
