Since for some stupid reason, you can't post more than one picture on mobile, here's a picture of the actual part! This thing is beautiful.

Interesting choice for a first part. I'd have gone with an intake because noise.

Or an exhaust because noise.

Or the six speed out of the STi because glass.

Or a catless uppipe so I don't have a cat blocking flow to my turbo, better turbo response, and better power.

Power and response will give you better numbers at the strip and you'll convince yourself that you can tell the difference, but a nice exhaust note and the joy of turbo whooshes is just fun.

Remember, Subies sound pretty nice with the right exhaust. It's a subtle burble compared to the typical four-banger whasp.

barf. The 1-2 off balance punch of a boxer engine is the worst sounding exhaust second only to a Harley. its like two wet naked midgets farting in a garbage bag. Better turbo spool says more usable power and better drive-ability. Sport exhausts and turbo whooshes says "here comes an idiot"

so quick question...did you check to see if this was legal in your state? My brother did this to his LGT and took it to be inspected and it failed, and he had to get cats put back on.

Grimmspeed makes some good stuff. My buddy runs a lot of their products on his STi, never had an issue.

Personal preference, I suppose. I know plenty of people who would disagree with you, and there are probably just as many who feel the same. I do agree about Harleys, though.

For me, it's adding the auditory element of driver engagement. Being able to hear your induction and exhaust gives you that extra bit of feedback on the car's current state. Makes me feel more "in tune" with the car to use some bullshit.

It's no different than my current car, except that nobody has ever made a nice-sounding exhaust for the B8 S4

Ever.

I don't doubt that it's a good improvement. It's just usually the second or third thing people get.

If you don't follow the stage system, the subaru police will come get you!
