Been seeing more two wheeled posts recently. Just wondering how many Opponauts we have here who are also motorcycle riders / enthusiasts.
Sound off with what you ride!
I'll start with a picture of my iron horse stable.

Got at least one here.
In the process of rebuilding a 2000 Triumph Sprint RS - Lucifer Orange, so haven't done much riding lately. But, I think my next vehicle purchase will be a bike, just haven't decided which one yet.

Putting it away for the winter soon. I want to trade/sell it to downsize a bit and get a more nimble bike. Something similar to a Ural/Bonneville/Moto Guzzi in style (love a more classic look) but not sure how that will work out as I'm 6'4" and don't have much to spend on the change.
On that note, anyone in the market for a cruiser? :P

It's a strange path for me. I grew up riding with my dad on various Harleys, Triumphs and Suzukis (he liked what he liked) and I've been zipping around on everything from mopeds and scooters to Full blown cruisers. Currently I have a kitted 2-stroke Aprilia SR-50. Small engine, lots of fun.

Finances, storage, transportation, or other such logistical barriers have kept me from personally owning a bike. But an old, close friend of mine has always been happy to share his stable with me. When we shared a pad, he had:
'03? Kawi KLX300R
'84 Kawi KLR600
'81 Harley FLT basket case
AFAIK, he's still got all of those, plus:
'11 Gas Gas EC250
'07 Buell XB9R
mid-'80s Honda XR200 for the old lady

I know what it stands for, but can't understand why one wouldn't get a BMW K1600GTL or a Gold Wing depending upon priorities for that kind of price tag.
New, anyway. My father rides an FLHTCU and I'm already solidly on Team Triumph for the time being.

It does but there is more to it. FL designated the big twin. H indicated it was high compression. (All this FLH goes back to the late 40's) T stands for touring bike. C stands for the model, Classic. U stands for Ultra, which is a fancier version of the classic.

The right one needs to be re-finished due to my crash, and the fairings need replacement due to the crash.

They are solid as a rock. Seriously. My bike has done... wait for it.. 210, 000 km.. And runs strong! There's a blue one kicking around in the states (I live in NZ hence the KMs) that has done something crazy like 300, 000 MILES!
A true classic. I'm going to get a k100rs too for the stable :)

I was until I took a Mom to the guilt center of the brain. I was bringing the bike to the place I store it for winter and was nearly eliminated by a Mazda 6 who was texting. Of course she was my ride home, following me, and saw the whole thing. She freaked out and I decided as fun as it was I had to sell it.
I had an '03 Kawasaki ZX-6R. It had full exhaust and a few other bits. It was tuned to 114 hp at the rear wheel. I miss it everyday, but I also know a couple families who miss their sons or daughters a lot more.

now my brother is starting the same phase and is giving me a 2001 R1. which has some clutch issues, but hopefully I'll get my licence next year & ride some. it came in handy last year when I had to swap a transmission in my daily driver.
