Lightning zones post got me thinking; Toyota has produced a lot of well built appliances over the years, but with car guy Toyoda at the helm things are starting to look up again for the exciting Toyota. So what, up to this point, would you call the Most "exciting" Toyota ever made?
Lets divide it up into racecars and production cars (owned brands and Toyota engineered only...no tube frame and sticker jobs)
For racecare, I kind of dig on the GT-One, because loophole.
For production car - GT2000
Because 2.0 carbed inline 6 and sex sex sex.

If toyota make the Hardcore version of the Century...
You know, just tune that V12, how hard can it be?

The hilux or the arctic truck hilux, cause the second sort of doesn't count...since its been so heavily modified.

This one (sort of counts):
When it's moving, few things excite me more. In the mean time, DAT COLOUR.

interesting story, my uncle works for Toyota and when I asked him about swapping that engine into my cruiser (totally doable, btw) he said that it had a nickname among the toyota people: the handbuilt anchor.

Totally counts, Toyoda pushed this project through personally. And that exhaust note will forever haunt my dreams.

There were parts I use to install when I was a tech for Lexus that had TOYODA stamped on them

Not sure why I thought the 460 was the latest, I wouldn't get the hybrid, but I do love the long wheelbase ls, something about it says "look, I'm just a limo, can we leave it at that and have a nice commute?"

really? interesting. I have to wonder what kinds of parts those were? I just got a close up view of Toyota parts last night, nothing special this time around.

fastest version of the LS is 600hL. There is a difference between Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive and Lexus Hybrid Drive. Lexus Hybrid Drive is for performance. I raced a IS-F in a 600hL for about half a mile, it was a dead heat even with my friend in the back seat at full recline getting a massage, dont tell the Lexus tech training center staff in Dallas that lol. Like i've said before, in the AWD V8 Hybrid game since 2008. That Yamaha V8 plus performance hybrid was beast.

Well there is Toyota stamped on most stuff, but some things at Lexus and Toyota have TOYODA with that "D". All i can remember right now was steering racks (non electric)
