Late 90's throwback and right-wing news aggregation site DRUDGE REPORT has linked to Patrick George's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on the latest Tesla fire. With 20 million tin foil hat-wearing viewers a day, are the crazies about to come out of the woodwork?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Furthermore, is this post even worth writing? The answer is most likely a resounding "no". But it's late, and I am le tired .
Matt Drudge made a name for himself in internet journalism when he leaked the Monica Lewinsky scandal in 1998. Since then, he has accumulated a reader base of global warming climate change denying lunatics. It comes as no surprise then, seeing the Tesla fire headline directly under a report on the failures of the green hotel industry.
Like a chess player moving a pawn across the battlefield, Drudge is pushing his anti-EV message on the stage of American political media - with Jalopnik caught in the middle. May God have mercy on our souls.

In all honesty, the people who listen to sources like this have already decided what side they are on and just look for an echo chamber that agrees with them. I could care less since those people also tend to be un-influential in the world as a whole.

I wouldn't say they lack influence. If that were the case we would be putting in as much effort into preparing for the inevitable devastation that climate change will bring as we do on the war on terror.

It would have been better if they had linked to an Oppo post that had been promoted to the main page, thinking it was a Jalopnik article. I would be giggling pretty hard if someone thought something I posted to Oppo was "news".

Better than Ezra? I actually saw them live, at the old DV8 club in Seattle. In fact I think they opened for Radiohead, but my memory is fuzzy at the moment.
