Feeler post: Anyone interested in starting a Hot Wheel exchange program? Mycarneverruns87 and I were talking about it in my earlier post. We could have a gentlemen's agreement to ship each other a car we agree upon trading. If you have a car you're willing to trade, post what it is as a comment and post a picture or two. People can reply with offers and pictures of their own. Shipping shouldn't be more than $4, and a shipping confirmation is only $.35 if you're paranoid. Also, if it's not a legit Hot Wheels car, just say so.
For example, I've got two Ferrari 360's and I'd be willing to trade one away. I've got a red one and a silver one. What do you have to offer?!
Post offers, trade proposals, and other rule ideas.

Sounds like a good idea but quite a lot of work and money for a car or two. A lot of 1:64 cars or a 1:18 car would work though.

Ferrari 360 please!!! Lol, yes I was going bonkers looking for a 360 hard top. But all in all, any red mid engined Ferrari. Thing is, the only thing I could offer for an exchange is a copper 1:18 C6 Corvette convertible

Any way we can keep all the trading in this one post? just to keep the trade posting on the main page to a minimum? It's getting hard enough to get through Oppo in one day as it is! ha.
Is there a way to subscribe to a post so that when something new is updated you get a notification, instead of only receiving a notification when someone recommends a comment or replies to a comment?

I like where your head is at. There is definitely a lot of scrolling to get to where you want to be on this site. "Hot Wheel Exchange" would seem to be the easiest to search. Does anybody have a good answer to subscribing to a thread?

At some point we should create the "official" thread called "Hot Wheels Exchange" and search it for new trades and what not. That would be the primary thread in which we look for trades and simply post a new comment to start a trade. I agree with GRawesome that we shouldn't flood the main page with new constant posts.
One thing I worry about is trading personal info on here. Are we able to message specific people? We don't need to share info for all to see.

Hmmmmm...it almost makes....TOO...much sense.... It has to be quick though.
Example: I will use the names jimmy and Sampson for this
-Sampson posts a pic for a car up for grabs
-Jimmy likes it and posts a pic of his trade offer
-Sampson accepts and post a way for Jimmy to contact him either by text, email, smoke signals or however he feels.
-Jimmy confirms by simply posting after Sampson and contacts him by desired method.
-Info is exchanged and the gentleman's agreement is made
-Sampson deletes his previous post with personal info and awaits Jimmy to contact him.
-Sampson goes and buys eyedrops from making smoke signals
-Both Jimmy and Sampson ship their cars
-Upon delivery both Sampson and Jimmy violently tear open packages and make car noises while admiring their new ride!
Sounds easy enough right?

Can only authors edit comments now? Archduke and I worked out a trade and now I can't remove my e-mail address from the comment. Maybe you have to dismiss it? Thanks for putting this together, it might be a pain in the beginning but once we work the kinks out it should be fun.

Archduke can dismiss your comment with the email address by hitting the x. I'm not sure why editing is hit or miss, sometimes I can sometimes I can't.
I think it's going to get more fun and people will get into it. Mycarneverruns is going to write up the official thread and El-Uly worked out a trade: a 360 for an M3. I'm more excited than I should be about this whole thing
