They never fucking checked the tire pressure, cause they were all 25... the fronts are supposed to be 32PSI each and the rears, 30PSI each. I filled them up to their respective numbers and my TPMS light went away. Hooray!

Shame on you Nibby!. :) As a side note, I have always run Michelins on my vehicles and found that 3 psi over recommended gave a better handle and 2 mpg more with no additional wear. In fact, the tech told me that the recommended pressure was for ride comfort and not max tire/fuel mileage. Food for thought.

I didn't know you got a new style SH Forester. If I remember correctly, you had an old style SH Forester previously, before the Wrangler. If I am remembering this correctly, how are you liking the new style compared to the old style.

Nah we had a 2009 Forester before this one (same gen, it was just released when we got it) and my sister "needed" a new Forester. Silly, I know. So now she moved out of home and I've been driving the Forester while my mom drives the 2011 Wrangler Unlimited.

I'm generally not a fan of crossovers and I prefer my SUVs to be 4WD and comfortable (I hate Wranglers actually). However, I REALLY like the Forester. It's roomy, comfortable, not bad on gas, not the fastest thing around but it's not slow. Handles pretty decently too and has a surprisingly awesome turning radius. Well-equipped for the money too... cruise control, power locks, doors, heated cloth seats, *gigantic* sunroof. It's a good vehicle for what it is and it's the only car in its class I'd ever consider.

Ah, ok. We have a 2009, and love it. I know that car well, and was curious to get another perspective of how much of a difference the changes the mid-cycle refresh made. A friend of mine has a 2012, and other than it being a little quieter, I didn't notice any of the big changes significantly. It's good to see that the 2011-2013 models still kept everything that was good from the 2009-2010 models.
