I'm looking for a good movie to watch tonight, and I need some suggestions.
I'm open to pretty much anything, but it's also got to be ok for my fairly sensitive 11 year old sister. A car themed movie would be pretty cool. Any advice is welcome. Have a cool picture of the Elmiraj for your trouble

Stand Up Guys with Pacino and Walken would be a good one.

My sister used to love this movie..when it came out and she was 5 or 6 she was going to marry "Lightning the Queen." We may go back to this one tonight.

TROOOOLL!!
...wait is she cool with subtitles/ Norwegian Folklore? Might scare her like an 11 year old you watching Jurassic park for the first time. Basically what it is-Like a found footage of Jurassic Park...but with trolls. Beautiful Fjord scenery, characters that work, workable plot but not too complicated.
Spirited Away might be nice for both of you.

Seeing that you have an 11yo with you and I would suggest (all of which can be found on Netflix):
The Nightmare Before Christmas
My Neighbor Totoro
Spirited Away (can be kinda dark)
The Avengers (very action-y)
Hugo

The video link is busted, but I looked it up and it looks awesome! A definite possibility, for sure.

I want to watch that just so I can say I watched a Norwegian movie called "troll hunter."

I would say Black Dynamite, but with your situation, Lilo & Stich for the win.

We both liked that one. Sadly, that's the only place I've seen girls that like cars :(

You'll never believe this..but I've never seen it! That may be fixed tonight.

Nightmare before Christmas might be a great one for us!

Black Dynamite looks fantastic..but you're right, my sister would lose her shit if we watched that.

SENNA!! A magnificent movie, but my sister will probably complain of "boringness." Yup, we're pretty different.

I've never seen any Initial D..I know, it's a sin. I'm going to look into it

Tell her the El Miraj will be coming tomorrow and they want her to drive it. :)
Just do the easy and fun thing and do "Cars".

I had the same thought initially. Trolls n Norway go together like Japan n Giant Robots, or tentacle porn. It really is in my top 3 action movies over the past few years, s'good.

The original Bad News Bears is perfect for an 11 year old girl. Or, School of Rock.

Third Stage, though placed in the dead-middle of the storyline, is kind of a self-contained plot. Can be watched separately is you want a flavor of Initial D.
Edit: Oh, not a good choice for an 11 y/0

It is hilarious. And very adult.

Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai
An under-appreciated favorite of mine. Stick with it through the slower, expository parts and you'll be rewarded by the meat of the movie.

Any of the ghibli films. My personal reccomendations being Spirited Away, Howl's moving castle, and Porco Rosso.

This x1000. Studio Ghibli is high quality.
Also, it has no relation to, but at least shares a name with, the Maserati Ghibli.

"...Eastbound and down...."
What about "Smokey and the Bandit!"
Perfect movie!
that, or the Cannonball run!
