Man I really hate this. In two and a half years I will have bought another car. . . This sucks. And there aint shit I can do about it. What really is annoying is that I don't really drive that much anymore yet the lowest annual mileage they (my current insurer) will allow coverage for is 13,000 a year. In the past 2 months I have put maybe 500 miles on my car. In the 6 months I'v had the car I have put 4,000 miles on it. This is ridiculous. It just goes to show that one fuck up ends up costing a whole lot in the long run. And that stupid lady who decided to stop in the middle of the road for no reason causing 3 cars to crash into her didn't help me out either. I'm just a little frustrated right now.

Here is one of the few Chevy's/muscle cars I would like to own. Maybe it will help me feel better about the abysmal world of insurance. . .

Edit: I just realized I had a typo in the headline. . . Fixed it.

One of the only things good about getting older... Not sure if your in the states but if you are check out AAA. Saved me a good bit had 15%ish higher coverage with lower deductible and all the plus's of AAA membership. Didn't realize they did auto insurance till it was recommend for home owners insurance when I bought my first home.

Unfortunately AAA won't insure me. I was insured by them since I was 16 and they dropped me for a fuck up, even though I had zero incidents beforehand. Just doing a quick look around, I'm not better off going to another company as all the others I have looked at are around the same that I'm paying now.

I set a new personal record in yearly premium quotes today with a whooping $26 000 from one broker. I seem hit some sort of arbitrary trifecta of uninsurability at the moment. I learned that in one or two months time, though, I'll be able to exchange my foreign licence for a proper one which will get me a cheaper insurance than I could have today anyway. Sucks that I can't drive my new car until then, but the savings will be welcome.
