Actually, I'd bring THIS one instead - the one-of-a-kind 1929 Phaeton Royale Model J at the Reynold's Alberta Museum. I've seen it in person, and it's spectacular.

It has to be my only car? Hmm.
It's small and economical enough to be a commuter car, but with enough luggage space in the back and room for 3 in front to be practical for a single guy like me.
It's a quick mid-engine RWD sports car, which is sure to put a huge smile on my face going around corners. But the weight over the drive wheels means better traction in snow.
It's gorgeous, especially for an early '80s small car, too.
Disadvantages? Reliability. Parts supply. Finding a 2.2L S model in Europe and bringing it to America in the first place.
Still, my answer is MATRA Murena 142S .
