I got an employee of mine to watch Senna.
There is a young guy that works for me, about 20 or so. He's a great worker, and one of the most kind and honest people I know. He is however a dude bro who has an uncanny resemblance to Scumbag Steve and worships Ken Block. He is hugely into cars and has an ever evolving and changing taste in cars, of which I hope I've influenced and informed in some way. When he first started for me his ideal car would be a Civic fitted with an STI all wheel drive system and a 2JZ swap, stanced, 5% tint all around and as big a wing as possible. That still is his ideal car, but he at least respects and has knowledge of a lot more cars now.
Last Saturday I told him he had to watch Senna. Next time he was in on Tuesday, I had completely forgotten about it, but he comes up to me.
"Yo dude, I watched Senna."
"What'd you think?"
"It was awesome. I...I...got a little choked up."
Come Thursday his next day.
"Hey, I watched Senna again."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, me and some of my boys skyped it."
"What does that mean?"
"We just chatted on skype while we watched the movie."
"Hmm.."
"They loved it."
I envisioned a bunch of bros sobbing, flat brimmed hats lowered in respect at the end of the movie.
He still thinks Ken Block is amazing which he is(pretty good at least), but now his favorites drivers are probably Ari Vatanen and Senna, and he has a growing love of racing past and present. I feel like I've accomplished something.

I watch "Love the Beast" and "Senna" multiple times a year, each. I've also watched them with several friends and my wife. They all choke up and pretty much get hyped on cars from then on. Those two movies have converted more people to Cardom in one night than I have in my whole life under my own enthusiasm.
