Because I kinda want an F30 now. The more I see them in person, the more like the style over the E90. Of course I would feel differently if I could actually get a performance oriented wagon in the US with 3 pedals.

I still can't get over it's beltline. The way they thry to hide it withthe front fascia, I mean wow.

Is this photoshopped? Otherwise, some stancebro has way too much money. Either way, I agree about the styling—it's definitely grown on me. It just occurred to me that Oppositelock needs to take on Animal Farm and have a new motto: "Three pedals good, two pedals bad."

Not sure if shopped, I think aftermarket stuff. Being that we are trying to suppress the manual transmission elitism that props up every once and awhile, the mods will pass on that tag line. Still funny though.

Have you left the Audi camp to join the BMW. Automatch, this is a bad day. :)

The roundel isn't on the hood proper anymore, I don't know if I'll ever get over it. But yes, the f30 looks more athletic, e90's look fat now.

I wouldn't actually expect for that to happen, and it is really quite standoffish. That F30 is really quite nice looking; I just can't imagine scraping the frame rails of a $50,000 car every time there is a slight imperfection or bump in the road. The wheels really offset the lines of the car and add to the effect; they look like ADV.1s, but I'm not sure.

Are you fucking serious? No "stancebro" has touched that car, it doesn't even have 1 degree of negative camber. What you're looking at is a nicely fitted and dropped car.

Roundel isn't on the hood proper anymore?
It's something BMW has done in the past, and I think it works. The way that seam meets the headlights is kind of funky, though. (I'm also not too keen on the kidneys being connected to the headlights)

I know of a guy who drive a stanced white F30 in NYC, and I heard they have bad roads. I don't think it's that they have too much money, they just like financing.

The E90 was a styling atrocity. Anything would look better.

I was speaking in direct relation to the e90. I never insinuated that to be a blanket statement actually. It's not the roundel itself that's the issue, it's the massive panel gap that sits right between that and the hood itself.

It's the blue! It looks amazing in blue.

Also, I just saw a BMW commercial talking about their Car and Driver's ten best for 22 years... It's Bmw porn

I still love my Audi wagons, but my perpetual window shopping has me leaning BMW. But I've always liked Bimmers as evidence from my ///Midnight posts. :)

Yeah I wouldn't get one that low, just liked the pic. I'd be perfectly fine with a 328 Sport 6MT

The closest you will get to that here is the V60 R-design. Nice but not quite the same.

That panel gap is much worse in pictures in dark colors in person not bad at all.

I quite like it too; I don't want to seem that I am being cynical about others' tastes in cars. I'd be more than happy with any 6MT BMW, and the 328 has always appealed to me due to its relative light weight (although one of the F30's biggest faults is being 5 Series-sized) and N/A engine. If I were able to have any BMW wagon here, though, I'd certainly have to drop the F for an E in the model name and build this masterpiece of automotive modification!

Oh no worries I don't think your cynical. I actually don't mind the size it is small enough to be tossable but big enough to fit kids in the back seat comfortably. The F30 328 isn't N/A anymore like the E90, and even though the N52 I6 was a wonderful mill the N20 turbo 4 in the F30 is damn quick. 0-60 in about 5.2 almost makes the 335 not worth the premium.

I have to agree in that the F30 is the perfect size, but I just think BMW needs to differentiate between their model lines a bit more. Whoops on the noob slip-up there, goes to show you how little I know about F30 models. I never did realize the marginal differences between the 328 and 33—I think the performance similarities again show the differentiation problems for BMW. I like the feel of a turbo 4 (I've only driven one, haha), and BMW does a good job with them usually. I still have to respect them for being at least a little bit true to enthusiast expectations in spite of a shrinking market, and I hope they keep catering to the small but loud minority we make up.

Funny you should mention it, I was just looking at videos of the F30 last night and now also want one. I wasnt sold on the looks when it first came out, but now i really like it. That 2.0T revs to 7000 RPM!
