I was going through some old videos on my PC last night, and came across this one and though I would share. This is the end result of me troubleshooting the poor power from the AMC 360 in my '84 Jeep J20. See if you can guess what the problem is!

I ended up parting the truck out for a lot more than I originally paid for it.

Ouch. Bent pushrods, or rollers/followers, etc?

It's been nearly 10 years, but from what I recall, apparently AMC had a run of improperly heat-treated camshafts, and I was unlucky enough to get a truck with one.

rounded off cam lobe? looks like that pair of rocker arms haven't seen oil for a while either.

You are correct, round off cam lobe.

If I recall correctly, I took the video after I put the rocker arms and pushrods back in, so they are clean because I cleaned them off for inspection.
