New favorite obscure and/or made-up metric: Average power to weight. Weight of the car divided by the average power of the engine across the entire rev range. It's my favorite because it's the only way my GTI is numerically superior to my dad's 911, and dear god I'm going to rub it in his face.

What about useable seats?

Are you getting average power figures from a dyno sheet.

I like this idea because then my supercharger doesn't look so inferior to high peak turbo cars.

It's still a better metric than HP/L.

Yeah, I took several points from the dyno graphs (I did 500 rpm increments) and just averaged those. And yeah, peak power figures are fine if your power actually does peak, but whereas my car makes "only" 215hp, it manages to hold 95% of that for 2,000 rpm.

Theoretically yes, but in reality I'm 6'5" so the seat behind me is pretty much useless, too.
