So assuming you have Facebook, probably every trendy person you know (if you know any) has posted their new bbm app pin numbers in the last 24 hours. What I don't understand is the logic behind this. The built in messenger feature in the Facebook app (which anyone who's posted a picture like this obviously has) does exactly what the bbm app does. It allows you to chat with your friends, make group chats, send pictures and links and video, and it has cheesy emoticons.
I'll tell you what the bbm app can't do... it isn't going to let you creep pictures of hot girls who are friends of your friends...so why bother with the bbm app at all?

It's blackberry one last attempt at staying in the cell phone game. But it's a losing battle and they will be dead within 6-12 months.

Unfortunately they won't. The US Government is effectively keeping the going. I hate my work Blackberry, SO, MUCH.

My last IT internship I had the pleasure of setting up a few iPhones for the employees switched out their BB's. It takes forever to set one up and I wish that the 300 or some phones weren't due for upgrades. So glad I didn't have to primarily deal with that crap, because intern.

I'm desperately trying to get a few Windows phones to "test" here. Our managers have iPhones/iPads. I hate the interface we use for e-mail (some third party app), I would love to just have Outlook installed on our mobile devices. SOOOOOO much easier.

Same here. Sick and tired of seeing pins everywhere on my news feed. I don't get the point and there's much better options out there...next trend is gonna be going back to icq. Ha!
