Nah, it's like this:

Winter (cold but at least there's snow so it's not that dark)

Spring (days get longer, slush everywhere, people are starting to get their summer mood on)

Summer (yay it's summer for 2-3 months)

Fall (that's where we are now it's just rainy and dark)

Winter again
