And no, they are/were not nazis.. in fact they used to have stickers on their records that said "NO, we are NOT a nazi band"

Were they actually not Nazis, or did they just say they weren't whilst behaving like them?

All HC bands from that time may have behaved like nazis (as in being violent and shit) but no, they were never nazis (at least that's what my friends from Finland tell me)

Being violent isn't specifically Nazi. I meant stuff more like saying 'no, I'm not a Nazi' whilst being a racist, nationalist, fascist.

Yeah, sorry, I was trying to make a joke there. No this band did not play nazi music, the name of the band was just for shock (kinda like how sex pistols walked around with swastikas in the seventies) It's kinda hard to prove though, me not speaking English all that well, and hardly finnish at all :) You'll just have to take my word for it mate... It's not like I'm trying to indoctrinate you with ideas you don't like :)
The only "proof" I've got right about now is this album cover really.. sorry about that..
But I'd never promote ideas of anyones superiority.

No, it's fine, I was just wondering. It's often hard to tell, especially with the deliberate shock stuff, and the fact that anyone shouting madly in a Germanic language sounds a bit like a Nazi from a war film.
By the by, I'm no expert but I've never seen photos of the Sex Pistols themselves wearing swastikas and so-on. There is of course the famous photo of them offering a Nazi salute, but the context was that they were saluting the establishment in what they were implying was its own language.

Sid was known to have t-shirts and stuff with swastikas, he even wore one in the mockumentary about Sex Pistols (The great rock 'n' roll swindle)...

You don't mean the famous Vivienne Westwood shirt?
That one was clearly anti-Nazi - rather brilliant, because it managed to get the shock value whilst still being clearly against rather than for.

Nah. I meant the one I linked to in my previous post :) I've actually got a copy of that Vivienne Westwood shirt :)

Oh, must have been kinja'd, it's there now.
Thing is, Sid's in costume there, playing a character in a film. What I was asking is whether there's any evidence of Sid, as himself, wearing anything like that.

Only as Sid Viscious in concerts and stuff, as himself (John Simon Ritchie) I don't think he did. I really don't think he gave a flying fuck about politics at all.
