Simple question: why notifications can be scrolled with the mouse wheel, and Top Stories cannot?

I imagine it's because they put ads there on the FP and didn't want a person scrolling out of them and then didn't feel like coding for the niche blogs to be different or for multiple ads at regularly spaced intervals.

We can scroll through notifications? Cool. I somehow missed that. At some point you just don't expect anything anymore from Gawker IT. I genuinely thought that seeing only one notification was part of their grand new scheme. "Hey Roy, let's fuck up the notifications completely so that people have to to their own blog's notifications page if there is more than one. More page clicks after all!"

The top stories weren't designed to be scrolled through. We'll look into a solution for this by either adding scrolling or making the list finite.

Oi Ernie, there appears to be a problem with writing and editing posts. When I click on Compose Post and Edit links, nothing happens. I cleared the history and cache and rebooted the computer, but nothing seemed to help. I'm running on Macintosh OSX Lion 10.7.5 on Safari 6.1. I tried using Firefox, but the problem remains. I wonder how everyone else is still posting flawlessly. Thanks and cheers!
