Speak for yourself. It's like a little retarded football player with a hat.

Also, there's something to be said for the Geely GE's Throne of Authoritah.

American rules, or the other kind of football? This is important.

Both, and Australian rules, all in different ways.
Mouthguard: American rules
Stripes and colors: World football jersey
Australian rules: looks completely ridiculous.

The common denominator here is that all stick and ball sports and their players are mentally challenged, so to speak.

Those specific Geelys are not bad cars, some other Geelys not so much.
After writing a long post about my suspicions on their safety claims and all that, because of inconsistencies in reports by the media and difficulty in finding the sources to all the info I finally came across the Chinese version of C-NCAP, where the car appears (after Google auto-translate) as the Geely Panda. The results are a bit difficult to find and not accessible from the English version of C-NCAP's page.

It does seem to have been given a 5-star rating, making it China's safest Key-car and one of the safest cars overall. I hope the test are on the same standard Euro-NCAP uses.
