This 2007 Saturn Sky has seen better days. Specifically, before the driver's airbag was replaced by a small flatscreen. I'm not sure what the inspiration was behind these modifications, but the jeans with stitched patterns might be a clue.

...Someone actually bought a Saturn Sky?

The saturn sky's actually sold rather well. I remember some article from back when these were on sale and that although the Solstice outsold the sky almost 2:1 the Sky's actually sold much quicker and were flying off the dealer lots while the Pontiacs would sit around for a while.
It's really too bad they got the Ax. They were good little cars, especially the GXP/Redline versions.

Hmm, maybe I was thinking of the Pontiac. Not that I'm dogging on either of them, I actually kind of like the Kappa-platform cars, always thought they were cool-looking. I meant that you don't see enough of either car driving around. If GM had killed off Buick and pumped some money into Pontiac to make the Solstice and G8, I'd love to see what they could've done.

This should be punishable by jail time and a felony charge.

Eh I think keeping Buick over Pontiac was the right choice. Pontiac and Chevy have pretty much the exact same target market and as hard as losing the G8 was Chevy is the more valuable brand. I really like the direction that GM is going with Buick, as Cadillac continues to upgrade there opens up a gap in the lineup for essentially upscale Chevys. Cadillac takes on the Germans, Buick the Japanese. Plus the Buick brand is fucking money in China.

Step 1: Replace Airbag with infotainment screen
Step 2: Get in accident from watching said infotainment screen while driving.
Step 3: Die due to removal of airbag.
Step 4: Darwin's Theory of Evolution confirmed.

Ooh I completely forgot about Buick and China never mind then. Regardless I agree with you on everything else, too, I'm just sad that GM killed off the Kappa platform cars and the G8. I believe the G8 sold nearly 40k units in the 2 years it was available, and the Sky/Solstice sold over 100k IIRC, so it's not like they weren't selling. Just some idealistic enthusiast whinging on my part lol.

Well the Chevy SS is back which is essentially a G8. I do wish they had kept around the Kappa platform as no American manufacturer has any non-muscle low cost RWD options.

I hope the lcd screen is just over the airbag. That way, when he gets in an accident, the airbag smashes the screen right in his stupid face.

I once saw a Mustang (at a Hot Import Nights event of course) with 64 TVs. There were some under the hood and even under the car itself. There was also a Corvette with shredded up money stitched into the seat fabric. The early 00's were a scary time.

It's not unbelievable. I drive 55 miles each way to work. 110 miles a day - 22 days a month - 2420 a month - 14520 in six months not including mileage on the weekends.

Jeez, you'd think they'd at least update the pics.
Well, if they had common sense, that is. But clearly they don't.
