Lift the front of my barren Trans Am, turn it 90 degrees, and not die or break my back.
Its really not all that heavy in the front as it sits all taken apart anyways.
Now the wife can fit her car in the garage too, and I can still work on finishing the floor and whatever else I have time for.

So is your garage like 50' deep or what? Where would wifey park exactly? Are those floor panels on the pallets? Inquiring minds and all.....

Doors and hoods on the pallets to the right, front subframe I need to finish coating in the front.
I'm standing about 1/3 of the way into the garage where I took the pic, it's pretty deep. Deep enough for the wife's CX9 (200") to fit with a few feet to spare. She asked to be able to park it inside during the winter. I am obliging so I still get bouncy bouncy time.

Looks like your moving along nicely. Are you going to put updated front end parts on it?

Ohhh I've always wanted those car dollies (I have absolutely no use for them).. I think you have a case for them! A bad back could ruin bouncy bouncy time:)

It might be easy to move it around...just don't drop it. Like I did.
I don't have an engine hoist. So to get the engine out, we took the wheels off and lowered the front subframe down onto a furniture dolly. Then lifted the body off the engine. When we were putting it down we dropped it. It was extremely loud, as was my neighbors car alarm that it set off.

It already has a bunch of new stuff on it. I may change the springs and shocks though, and I have a full urethane suspension/body mount kit to install that came with the car.

lol, I did similar with my shell, turns out you CAN fit 3 cars in a "2" car garage.
