Let us count the ways you've been wronged....
Hint: Every one is made of chrome.

Eh, never understood why people put chrome on current-gen Mustangs.
In fact, Mustangs in general look better without it.

Because shiny means rich.
But in all seriousness I simply CAN NOT fathom doing that to a car and then taking a step back, looking at it and thinking "Yeah....that looks way better"
It blows my fucking mind. I mean, i can imagine putting that shit on there if i were drunk or high or something, but then looking at it and thinking "Yeeaaahh!" that's just one step too far. Can't do it.

With my father's S197 GT, I told him he's lucky that he bought one with almost zero trim add-ons like those fake hood, side, and window scoops. We just need to figure out how to remove his spoiler and cover up the holes.

Chrome on modern cars is the worst, always just makes it look tacky. Especially when you are chroming wheel arches and everything else they sell in the JC Whitney catalog.
I am trying to de-chrome my entire car, slowly finding used parts and painting them and storing the factory ones for if I ever sell the car. Looks a million times better without all the chrome, much cleaner look.

That's pretty much my reaction whenever I see any additional trim pieces on a car that either don't aid in functional cooling or downforce.
