If this were dirty, I would have no problem with this.
As is? I still see nothing wrong.

I saw a G63 AMG today in this exact color, but it didn't uh...have those wheels.

I get the feeling that no longer uses the original or a Mercedes drivetrain.

Bro G-Wagon.
Hate all y'all want, I actually like it. You probably don't want to take very many fast turns in it, though.

Should have fitted the G body on a unimig chassis.

Why so? Frame chassis with stick axles means it is actually rather easy to lift.

Image doesn't work .... but it has actual rubber on those tires, looks like it would work to me.

That's how you get ground clearance.

Is that how G Wagens are setup? I wasn't sure, just figured they used some overly complicated design. I liked Cody's suggestion of using Uni-mogs method for ground clearance.

I have driven all over Scandinavia, where I'm from had no pavement for years, Africa, Australia, New Guinea, crossed Tibet and Mongolia ect...with Land Cruisers. So I can tell you there is a reason why real off road vehicles are not built with balloon tyres and silly lift kits. This blue FJ80 is about as big as you want to get with the tyres, some terrain needs this type, go too big and disaster.
Here a C303 Volvo used by my country, no cartoon tyres here:
I would take this one:!

You may have won the battle, but I will be dumb before this war is through.
I actually like it more now. Ladder frame, hell yes.

By all means Its not ideal for off road ... but its better than most custom high dollar offroader's whose rubber is like a rubber band.
