And it was fun. It was at Xtreme Racing Center in Pigeon Forge, TN. Basically, you start out at a slower 30 something mph kart, then graduate to a faster 40 something mph kart. The track was actually pretty technical, with two double-apex turns, some sweeping corners, and a tight section that I absolutely destroyed people on. In the slower kart, I passed 3 people before the race ended after 8 mins (I'm not sure what place I started in, probably 6th though), and was catching up to the person in front of me. In the faster kart, I started even farther back, and there was this tool in front of me that wouldn't let me pass for about 3 laps (if I tried, he cut me off and bumped into me, even on straights), but eventually my superior skill prevailed and he spun himself out. Once I got past him, I caught up to the people in front of me and they got caught in a 5 kart rolling roadblock. I hit the apex properly on the turn the "roadblock" was at, and went inside of them. So, I was able to pass about 10 people if you combine both runs. Oh, and I easily pulled away from my friend who thought he could beat me. Have a video of the only other Xtreme Racing Center, which is in Branson, Missouri, and it looks like the track isn't as technical as the one in Pigeon Forge
(not my video- I wish I had a GoPro).
