Btw, the plate on the dashboard near the ashtray is of the holy St. Christopher, protector of the travelers and car drivers and it was usually coupled with a picture of the wife (or the gf) over the writing "Don't Run... Think Of Me!"...

Yay Limerock.

Sad to see Sam Posey was forced to drop some not insignificant advertising moolah to fight those scurrilous rumours...

the guy in the black car is driving like a tool.... he would have been kindly introduced to a fence, if he slammed the door on me in the apex that many times.

That's pretty cool info too, I didn't know that.

I loved the build up before the green flag, then BRRRAAAAAAAAAHHH.
BTW, what car is that?

I had guessed Mid-Ohio. I've heard of Limerock but I don't think I have ever seen the course.

It's a heck of a thing when your motor can max out the tach.

I was going to say the same thing. So cool to watch a real vid and have the track look exactly like the iracing version.

Same here, you could say this is quite the tricky track.

Yup; the second '101' series of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint (1959 - 1965). If there is a more perfectly beautiful car – from that sound to the finish on the cam covers – I don't know it.
Not cheap and rather rust prone, alas.

Lakeville, CT. Great track, beautiful area of the state.
Wish I could get the monies to bring my DD onto the track (after some prep. Like better brake pads and tires).

Is it me, or does this guy need some seat time with an instructor? As a race car driver, I saw far too many openings not taken and way too much early brakng. It's an Alfa worth $10k max, not a priceless Ferrari. *sheesh* That thing has no hole shot power, so you've *got* to carry the speed!

You know what... never mind, forget what I said, I had a hair up my ass.... Looks like fun.

Lime Rock is a cool track to see these races. Highly unexpected things happened when I've gone.
