I work at a high school in the auto department organizing checking out tools to the kids as well as making sure they don't kill themselves and helping with the teaching. Quite a few liked my car. And a kid asked me how to make his 2door accord V6 louder also someone drew a weiner in the bathroom. That is all.

Cool! Another opponaut who joined the teaching squad. We are now like three or so, last time I checked.
Treat the the kids with a modicum of respect and try to take them somewhat seriously and you will be surprised at what you you get back in return.

Will I get money in return? Gifts? Chocolate? Seriously though you offer some good advice that I shall use. I think all of us have had teachers we hated because they thought they were so much better than the students.

Wish there were more vocational classes available. Not every kid is going to college. Teach them a trade. I have a friend in Canada, which has a very strong vocational school system, who took welding and now has his own business and is making over $400k a year.

What does he do? Yes I think many many more people are not going for the College and School Loans and massive debt route when it seems that a college degree isnt worth much when skilled trades are still in demand and pay a good wage.
