Everybody is complaining that 25% of their screen are plain empty and that everything is so damn tiny. I just zoomed in to 125% and I can see the whole site but don't have to squint anymore. Give it a try!

Not a bad suggestion at all, but it still does not cure the problem of the ridiculous density of information on the page. And the still-too-small pictures.

At the risk of sounding stupid. How do I do that in windows?

Wich version of win and which browser? With win 8 I just do the two finger move you do on a smartphone to zoom in on this touchpad thingy that acts as a mouse.

This post made me realize I had it on 110% anyway, so it's even worse than I thought... Zoom is for low res vintage pornography and pdf files.

I tried that earlier too, the only problem is you loose resolution on larger images and video.

There must be something buried in the settings. For me it has only oppo on 125%, all other sites are normal and it remembers that. I'll use that as a temporary fix of some sorts.

Something like 'View > Zoom > Zoom In' in the menus. You should also be able to hold CTRL and press + to zoom in and - to zoom out.
