Im still saying its going to be the next California and not a FF coupe.
Spent alot of time reading everyones opions on the interwebs and that's how I came to my conclusion.

Speaking of the FF, is it wrong that it's the only current Ferrari that I want?

Its the only one at the moment that I want.

I still think flying buttresses are the rear roof supports.

You want AWD, Ferrari engineering, and space for stuff? What's wrong with you? Who would want all that awesome stuff in one convenient package?

I'll join that chorus. Why would they make an FF coupe when we already effectively have that in the F12?

Right.
It does not make sense.

No one said the 612 and the 599 were the same, so I don't understand this view point.

Still here in the FF camp.

People seem to act like it's not a "real" Ferrari, and the four-seat ones are usually the least desirable. I am a total Jalop, though, and not one of those boring Ferraristi who own lots of polo shirts with the logo and not much else, and as such I love the shooting brake body style and how they made it AWD-ish by sticking a second transmission to the front-side of the crank. That second thing is mostly due to my love of goofy-yet-brilliant excessive engineering.

The 612 did not go on to get a new model after the FF launch; it was replaced. So I don't understand this observation.

That's gotta be the most annoying part of our culture. A beloved nameplate puts out something we find disagreeable, and all of a sudden it's not 'real'. People need to GTFAC with that already...

Seriously. My inability to think like that is a part of why I dislike Porsches so much. It seems like pissing and moaning about any minor change to the 911/new model introduction is about half of what makes up the Porsche enthusiast experience.

From what I've heard and what wiki says the FF replaced the 612 as Ferrari's 4 seater. Soooo .... if there was a 4 seat coupe before, why cant there be one now? The 599 and F12 are the sports cars, while the 612 and FF are the gt's. I'm confused why you think the FF coupe would be the same as a F12.

Exactly. We get one luxury coupe from Ferrari each generation. Not two. If an FF coupe is on the way, it's because the current FF is going to be replaced with it; it will not exist as a compliment to the FF.
The rendering could be that, but it's unlikely that they would replace their flagship luxury coupe so soon after just introducing it (it's barely 2 years old) along with new design language. All the other models ferrari sells have gotten a refresh with the new design, including the flagship rare supercar. The California is the only one left wearing the old design language.
One more thing; compare the 612 and tell me honestly that you believe 4 adults + room for stuff could fit inside the newly rendered mystery car. It's clearly a smaller vehicle.

First off who says its going to replace it? I would bet a beer on this will be sold along the FF to get more traditional buyers that don't want the look of a wagon.
Second, part of the reason I think its the FF is because of the headrest placement in the side view, which must mean there is enough room.
... but we'll find out eventually.

This is Ferrari, not BMW. They don't splinter off their model divisions to fill every conceivable niche. If all you want is an FF without the shooting brake look - and by extension without the trunk space or the convenience, or the utility - then you are pretty much describing an F12. They make that already. One of the reasons for making the FF a shooting brake/hatch was to further differentiate the luxury coupe line from the super GT line. An FF coupe would 1) Defeat that purpose 2) dilute both lines. Ferrari has literally no reason to do that.
Also, no. There's isn't room for two more people in that car as it is rendered. Compare the FF; Look at how much more space you need in the back to comfortably fit four people in that car. If it had a roofline like the concept, there would be no room for their heads.

Holy hell bro, your acting as if your in Ferrari management and everything you say is fact.
