What's blowing my mind about that shot is not how big IMS is, rather how big Churchill Downs is. I had to look for myself, and it is indeed larger than the Rose Bowl and Yankee Stadium combined. Jeepers.

I lived an hour away from IMS for the vast majority of my life, and always could quote this stat to people, but never actually knew if it was true or not. But...provided the scale is right...impressive.
