Nope. It's a bit more undersquare and came DOHC 4v long before the modern 4V modular engine. In fact, I would say some of the head work on it helped produced the Coyote we know today. No parts probably share, but they're both DOHC, 4V, cylinder-sleeved, slightly undersquare (the jag by a lot more than the ford) aluminum EFI V8s. They probably have a similar weight and size too, and some Ford cars used the Jaguar engine also.
It's down about 25HP from the Ford 5.0 in N/A trim, and that mostly comes from a lower compression ratio than the 5.0, or perhaps lower revs due to the longer stroke.
