But the Titanic didn't sink, refloat and combine itself with icebergs multiple times, with serious quantities of passengers going "oh, fuck this" and jumping off, to be replaced by other trusting victims. I'm also fairly certain rooms didn't fill with water at random.
Maybe Kinja's more like something in the Bermuda triangle.
