Hey, now, the oppocalypse was what we called the advent of kinja/NuOppo in the first place. I propose Ragnarlock for this one.
Also, Y U NO dump goofy/ugly extra US code reflectors on your SIII?

just noticed the rear lights- something looked a little off, in a good way

It's a SII and they leave behind holes. We did get rid of those god awful square indicators though.
Also totally stealing your idea.

I knew it was either late IIa or III, so I lazily picked one (couldn't be arsed, as they say, to look it up).I've got little tiny holes on my galvanized corners from where around '66 they started putting little circle reflectors on the bottom corner next to the crossmember.
My younger brother has a ~61 Series II 109 that was retrofitted with backup lights in a bozonic manner, but we're replacing one of the rear panels anyway, so may see fit to either eliminate or do it right. The nicest look for backup lights would probably be the extremely uncommon screw-mount clear glass parking units. Unobtainium these days.

I think unicorn horns are easier to find than those lights.

Not bad have done a few long overland trips without issue, but was in a bit of a state when I bought it. Had to rehab it a little but it was a labour of love.
