1:12 scale? Holy schnikies, only ones I've seen were 1:24. Congrats on the car, I've always heard Tamiya models are amazing to build.

I've built several Tamiya models......they are amazing when they are built. If you are really, really into realism-try this site.

Tamiya models are the best. I made a bunch when I was a teen, and I still have several unopened kits that I've carried around through multiple moves over the years. I finally have the means to buy the good paintbrushes and other tools I always wanted, but I no longer have the time to build the models. Someday ...

Yeah, I've only built three before myself. All 1:24 so this should be a sporting challenge.
Thanks for the site recommendation, although most of the items for the kits seem to be backordered or out of stock.
