This thing is unfuckingbelieveably fast.
And having seen it in real life, it's even more insane. Here's the (rough) run-down.
Blazer, lowered, stiffened suspension, caged, stripped, turbo (waste gate vents to atmosphere for LOUD), somewhere north of 450HP, slicks, 4WD. Yeah.

On an Auto-X course? Lol. Was fun to watch though. Sounds monstrous.

Seems like the driver isn't quite a match for the car though. They never really get on it and enter some of the features strangely. That later really hurts the driver as he isn't realizing the speed that power can give him. He is artificially cutting his straights short.
For instance, in the second slalom, after the first 2 cone slalom, he is focused on the first cone. He heads for the cone coming along it's right side perfectly. But he should really ignore it and head to the second cone. All that maters is being on the left side of that second cone. Everytime, he slows down to get close to the right side of the first. things like that tick away time. This beast needs to use that space. It needs to spool turbo and burn that section up.
It seems to be auto too, which keeps a lot of that power locked away, requiring the transmission to shift down to get the thing moving.
I can see this being scary fast in a straight line though. The transmission is hold it back in Autocross; unless he can lock it into 1st or 2nd.

Yes, it is an auto. And yes, not ideal runs.
But remember, this wasn't an official auto-x. It's a fun, informal get-together where almost anything goes. I ran my racing power wheel there.

Beat a Saturn Ion, so yeah. For the win.
