I'd rather ignore the listing for a week or so, then offer him $500 for a non running car.

Then fix it.

Then sell it.

Kind of a strange idea but looks interesting; the location on the ad is about a 5 min. drive from where I am. Here's one of the jobs I found when I clicked "all gigs" from there:
