...but when I do it's because muscle car. Not a bad way to spend $45k, though for that money I personally would rather have a brand new GT.
Edit: there should be a picture of a GT500, but it's not showing up for me. I hope it's showing up for you. If not, blame Kinja.

It's there.
I don't know, it is a tossup. The GT500 is certainly interesting. I love the blower whine. But I'd really have a hard time not passing up a new 5.0 GT. They are a lot nicer.

It's far too red for my taste, Grabber blue would be better. I'd also prefer if it were an SVT Cobra, but that's a rant for another time. This one's a 2010 so it still had the iron block 5.4, but the guy who owned it apparently had $4k worth of work done to it, a few engine and suspension mods. It only had like 2800 miles on it so that's a plus, but I'd pass on it for the money.
