Some may not like the current crop of LMP cars for their reduced horsepower and dominating diesels, but you can't help but be impressed by these 300km/h+ runs down a de-chicaned Monza straight. It really makes you wonder what a modern F1 car would look like on the same track setup.
Downforce is a beautiful thing. Just imagine if you could show this to someone way back in the 1960's. They probably wouldn't believe it even possible to go around turns that tight at those speeds.

This makes me so sad.
I wish Audi had not cancelled their plans to make a road-going hypercar that sat above the R8. A street legal car with R18 styling cues and a high output TDI would have been fun.

Racing drivers are going to need pressurized suits to keep their organs on the inside. The G-forces. My god.

That's almost certainly not the 2014 Audi. It hasn't got a full width rear wing, which will be legal next year and its cockpit looks too small for next year's regs.
