If you are from North Carolina then you already know, if you aren't, go to BevMo and buy a pack. You will thank me later.

Even more North Carolinian than Pepsi.

Been there a few times. But, I see six bottles and the package says 4. Hmmm... You do make some killer BBQ, but you can't count very well.

Also, what's a BevMo?

I'm a North Carolinian who went to Georgia Tech (Coke central), but my folks were always RC folks and my grandma drinks Coke, so I'm not a Pepsi fan.

Cheerwine *is* the shizz, however.

There's a soda shop down the block from my apartment that carries it. I was so happy when I found it.

I worked on a movie in North Carolina, and we had Cheerwine and Dos Equis product placement in it. That was a good job to be driving the props truck...

Upon closer observation, I do believe you are correct, my good man.

Have you ever had a Vernors Ginger Ale?

If I have, it's been years. I do like fancy/different sodas, though, so I'll grab one if I get the chance.

Not from NC, from the central coast of California, I lived in Charlotte for awhile and have some family in NC. I have to beg to differ on that NC bbq though... Tri-Tip is where its at!

Not familiar with Tri-Tip. I was skeptical when I first saw NC BBQ as it was not red saucy looking. But the vinegar? based sauce was quite good. I had it mostly from a portable food vendor, which often are better than mos restaurants.

I am not a huge fan of vinegar based sauces, and BBQ in NC is just pulled pork. BBQ where I am from is tri-tip cooked over red oak wood. Google Santa Maria Style BBQ. I am biased, but its the best BBQ in the world lol

Greensboro actually. Not a movie anyone would have seen. Pucked. Jon Bon Jovi was the lead. I never worked in Wilmington. I worked all over the western half of the state. Mainly Charlotte on NASCAR commercials.

The guys with the trailer smokers can be pretty good...

The way to spot a good North Carolinian BBQ establishment is by the size of the hickory wood pile out back.

I lived in Charlotte for awhile, my sister does a lot of movie work in Wilmington. Charlotte is doing more movie/tv work especially the South Park neighborhood.
