"Plastic-Innovations" (Plastic-Innovations)

I was hauling some scrap for my boss and i saw this car hidden behind a huge pile of steel. I kind of like it. He said someone brought it for scrap but it was too nice to crush. He wants $800 which seems high. Supposedly runs and drive perfect. Missing the radio, passenger window, and drivers tailight. NPOCP?

To me a driver is always worth at least $500. If it runs as well as he says then $800 wouldn't seem outrageous. NP.

$800 for a runner is dirt cheap. I'd buy it in a heartbeat because it's so darn weird.

If it's still running now, it'll run forever. NP.

google is my friend. it appears its a 1978-1983 toyota corona liftback le. it has the venerable 20r backed with a 3 speed automatic driving the rear wheels. wonder how hard a 5 speed swap would be. 90 horses with the slushbox would be uninspiring.

Inspiring isn't really the point. It may not be quite the right car for you, but that one deserves to be rescued. Buy it, do the little bits and pieces, and sell it on to someone who wants it.

It's cool. NP, but I'd still offer $600.

NP, but offer $50 over whatever they are paying for junking cars these days. Make sure they throw in the chimney though! Use the difference to buy the parts you need.
