I have a date with a nice girl tonight. I was going to fix up the Miata properly since I had a rattle on my heat shield. It was broken in 3 places. Also I had mold on the ventilation system so I would do a little clean up with Lysol, re-greasing the driveshaft and a full car wash.

Now with this removed I thought, sweet no more rattles anymore. Nope. Turns out that the cat is rattling and I got it changed right before this summer! All I hope is that it's a rock that is lodged between the cat and the heat shield...also my check engine came back! Dammit!

Lately I've been making my dates drive. Or I take a cab to wherever we are meeting. It's amazing how often I've pulled this stunt and how many times I've ended up not sleeping at home.

I found mine by regularly washing my car at my neighbors place. She would come hang out with us while we washed....

Now we live together. The last time her car needed service we did it together. I changed the oil while she rotated the tires.

She's on here as Ferrero1911. She has a thing for shoes too.
