I have almost the same exact shaped power curve on my Sky RL. Peaks at 270hp and 319ft-lbs. So not as dramatic, but The torque is super early and the HP is flat.

Where is the best place to shift in a power band like that?

That dynosheet shows just how much Ford is manipulating that torque curve!

Same applies for my Taurus SHO.

Realistically I'd run it to the rev limiter. It's still making good power by the end of the graph, and the main reason it even drops the little bit it does is probably just the small turbo slipping off a little at the end. But from 6k to 7k it only drops about 20whp. So no point in shifting early and then falling below the power band in the next gear.

I had the tuner raise the limiter to 7,000 so that I would be able to get to 62mph in 2nd gear. The HP curve is amazingly flat. It's got 90% of the peak HP between 4k-7k. Kind of makes shifting optional.

The benefit of smaller turbos. I'd like to see one of these STs with something just slightly larger. Then it wouldn't taper off at the end as badly, and make a little bit more peak to boot.
