I think I'm going to choose the Felt Z85 over the Allez.

It's the same price but with a better transmission (shimano 105 instead of Tiagras). Also I like the matte paint job.

Nice choice! I went with an internal gear humb on my most recent bike, but the 105's are solid and should last the live of the bike.

Good choice going with the Felt, I used to have an Allez that I built from the frame up, it was a great little bike.

Well chosen. Went with a Felt myself earlier this summer, chosen over the Specialized as well. Love it more than I thought I would. Enjoy.

Ride safe.

Today's 105 is miles ahead of Shimano's Dura-Ace from 5 or 6 years ago-it's pretty much bullet proof

For a minute I thought you posted Ultegra, once I actually read it closely I saw you said Tiagra.

I don't have any experience with Felt's bikes so I can't say anything good or bad, best of luck with your purchase.

I'm a broke college student. An ultegra bike is but a fiary tail for me.

Absolutely, for the same reasons my Cross Check has Deore component groups on it.

I thought you had posted the Allez had Ultegra for the same price as the Felt with 105s, which would be a no-brainer to get the Allez, once I actually read and saw the Allez had Tiagra everything made sense. Though I'm not sure Ultegra is completely worth it for anyone but the hardest-core riders, just my opinion.

A broke college student wouldn't have gone with either of those brands ;)

tiagras are fine btw.

before pull the trigger make sure you realize the ramifications of getting a bike that will not easily take fenders, a rack or fat tires. those things can beer useful

Ahh. I personally think the value of Fuji and performance brand is usually the best
