For those who don't know, Studebaker was a car company who originally started making wagons in 1850s and manufactured cars until the 1960's when they were swallowed by American Motors, and I recently got the pleasure of visiting their museum in South Bend, Indiana. I came to South Bend to visit Notre Dame, tagging along with my parents, who were talking at a FPA gathering, and during our down time we discovered and decided to visit the museum. I wasn't expecting much when I saw how small the building was and the fact that it was shared with multiple museums, but I was gladly wrong. The museum was a great experience where I learned the story of the Studebaker brand. If you're ever in South Bend or in the surrounding area make an effort to see the museum, it's awesome.

Saw a '53 or '54 Starliner today, which had quite an engine roar. Looked them up to find out that the V8 only had 120 horsepower.

Also, Notre Dame? Really? Parietals haven't dissuaded you?

Nice dump. Never been to that museum. Now on bucket list. Studebaker made some drop dead gorgeous cars (and trucks). Thanks.
