It's been a bit since we got a new one. They do make them every time the V12 Coupe gets refreshed, and it is their only motorized targa top thingy model.
If you think it is and have the means to get one, don't bother. They make them by the handful, and - assuming they're making one now - they're all spoken for just like last time. Try your luck at Barret Jackson in a few years, and bring bags of money with you.

this one came with a gated shifter.
metal on metal gear shifts are almost spiritual in application

I hope you're right! I'd much the new car be a targa version of the F12 than the FF

I wonder if Ferrari will ever build a SuperChina...
This is the closest they've gotten

The timing doesn't seem right for this though. The Pinninfarina Barchetta, Superamerica, and SA Aperta all came at the end of the base model's lifetime. My bet is on another special project, not a production model, possibly for Chris Evans. There seem to be styling cues from the 250 and 275 in the design, but that could just be wishful thinking on my part.

That whole top comes off, that is interesting.

Been thinking of how it could slide under the rear glass similar to a 911 Targa.

It just doesn't have the same ring to it, being that it is not Latin based like "America" is. Nor does Peking, etc...

Yup. It'll be more like the P540.
