It's an older show called You're Under Arrest. The story revolves around !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , two female members of the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and the protagonists of the show as they are stationed at the fictional Bokuto Police Precinct located at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The series is largely episodic, and much of it focuses on the interaction between the main characters and the humorous supporting cast. (synopsis yanked from wikipedia cause I'm lazy). Anyways the hero's of the show drive a highly modified Honda Today and a Moto Compo, but there are TONS of other great and rare cars that show up in the show and become part of the story. For example one of the lead characters drives a Toyota Sports 800 and finding a new tach for it becomes a plot point in one episode. 2 other characters ride motorcycles, and that becomes a big part of who they are in the show. All in all it's a well done, and entertaining show that was obviously written by a gearhead, but don't go in expecting huge explosions and gun fights. The worst, or rather most violent case they have involves a Lancia Delta Integrale who's owner like to take out during monsoons and treat the city like his own personal rally stage . I know anime isn't all of y'alls thing, but for those that enjoy it, this is one you should definitely watch.

Holy shit. I have actually seen this show. Pretty sweet I remember there being an Alfa in the intro sequence. I totally enjoyed, I should watch it again.

Yup, there's also a Toyota 2000GT in the opening, as well as a hopped up classic Mini in the first episode. Lots of great vehicles in the show all around, and the characters are fun too.
