If you drive in highway, and having a crash, most people just leave the wreckage on the side of the highway as log as it's not stopping the traffic. It's Dangerous. Imagine you having a crash, then your crashed car spun off to one of wreck like this...

Kinja'd!!!

There's also an american land yacht..

Kinja'd!!!

And a truck..

Kinja'd!!!

And many, many other. From Abu Dhabi to Dubai, about 100 miles, there's at least 150 wrecks like this. that's means 3 wrecks for about 2 miles. And that's the wrecks only. Not including the Hagwalah, The car stone, the guy that want to see how fast his lambo can go, and many, many other. Arabian highways is quite dangerous. Slightly more dangerous than the indonesian, in my opinion.

Crash wreckage doesn't magically evaporate like a corpse in a video game. You need to have people come out and get rid of it if you don't want it there anymore. It's hard to imagine them not having the funds to get wreckers out there for clean up, but if it's not funded, it's not happening.

If the royals who control everything over there thought it was dangerous to them, these pictures wouldn't exist, and the highways would be clean enough to eat off of 24/7, naturally.

Ya.
but i think they just don't care.

Same goes with abandoned supercars. I've seen an Aston and a Cayman and a M6...

That's good! I've never visited the middle east but I know I will eventually. I've heard lots of good and bad things about Dubai but I'm not sure what to believe. Only way to know will be to visit it myself some day.

Jeez, 3 American vehicles in one post and the cargo on the truck. Seems like somebody would want that salvaged. Strange land. Hope you are enjoying your stay.

It's simply a great town. Classic dubai on the dessert, with typical saudi house and mercs in front of it, and supercars and towers in the coast.

Kenworth and Chevy. Could not tell on the third one. They certainly are in no hurry to clean up, are they.

Good to know! With the exception of fast food, do you know if the food there is mostly arab/mediterranean? Or do they have other types too?

Hmm.

Dubai is now really just like an european city, except every food i'm pretty sure is halal. You can find any kind of food there.

Man, it's nice to have halal food everywhere. Here in Houston there are arabian and indian restaurants that serve halal meat but sometimes there is no desire to eat that kind of food. I would love to eat halal fast food, that would probably be amazing...

Well, what about cooking your food everyday?

Sometimes i kinda feel dubai is like the country i come from, Indonesia. Only with more supercars.

Oh yes, thankfully my mom knows how to cook lots of things! Up until a few years ago we would have only ever eaten out if we planned for it or if my mom did not feel well enough to cook. Now every Sunday we try to eat out for dinner. It's like my mom's day off from cooking all the time :)

Aaa, i see.

In dubai, i always buy foods from some kind of restaurant. I rarely stay at home, because it's a bit boring.

In indonesia, well, i cook sometimes if i have some time. But mostly i bought things. In Indonesia, nearly all the thing sold in here is halal. Unless it's a chinese restaurant, beware of pigs.

oh gosh, I forgot that Indonesia is overwhelmingly populated by muslims! Now I just feel silly. Living in America, a country where being a muslim puts me in the minority, everything is completely different. Not a lot of people know about Islam's food restrictions. All they know is that we can't eat pigs! And it's very annoying to see that these people mix bacon in with almost everything, or they center their dishes around bacon being the main ingredient.

That's just leaving valuable raw material ready for the Mad Max festival. Except for that Caprice, that's just junk.

Ya. about 200 millions people.

But unfortunately, because my mother is a chinese and I look a bit more chinese, it also put me.in minority as well..

I mean..
How many you ever seen a Chinese Muslim?

And ya, bacon. I accidentally eat one of that when seeing one of my american friend in indonesia, simply because I don't know it made out of pigs. I also once accidentally eat dogs, some area in indonesia is making bacon out of dogs as well..

But I think the rest is, much better. But I think you ahould try to find an Indonesian Food.

Once I accidentally ate a pizza with non-halal beef on it and didn't even realize it until my third or fourth bite! I was confused because I don't like beef and didn't even sense a taste of it until I felt the texture of it. The beef was hidden and I did not even know it!

I'm always interested in trying new cultural foods! I know that there is a significant Indonesian-muslim population in my city so I'm sure there are quite a few restaurants I could go to!

Ya, try it!
Indonesian foods are awesome.

My choice would be a rendang with some rice. Then eat them, in your home, wth bare hands and no AC or any cooling device. It would be awesome.

That sounds and looks good, plus I just read that it's spicy. I enjoy spicy dishes! Many of Indian foods have some spiciness so I can't wait to get myself into an Indonesian restaurant now.
