How about diffs glowing and exploding.
Edit: In case of youtube not working and starting the video at the right point: start the video at 58:40

Timestamp for diff blowing goodness?

Ditto - need the timestamp for diff carnage...
The glowing you see is the inboard driveshaft/diff mounted disc brake rotor. If the diff blows when the brake rotor is cherry red, rapid oxidation of the diff fluid will likely occur resulting in a spectacular thermal and photon energy release.

There's some truck carnage around the 00:18:10 mark.

Carnage starts around 58:40
Video should have started playing at that point when clicked.. but I was silly trusting youtube to work for once.

It's not Youtube's problem... It's Kinja's... It does not accept the timing mark code in the URL.

Nothing too out of the ordinary here. Monster Trucks use driveline brakes. They get hot and look awesome when they start throwing sparks.

It started at 00:58 (as in, 58 seconds in) for me.
That was absolutely beautiful though. I don't care that he flipped upside down, it looks like he deliberately did it so he could blow sparks up into the air!
