Surely this is the ultimate Eurocar that the US doesn't get? It's basically a Mini estate that's been converted to a van, and it's got a diesel engine.

And it's brilliant. Absolutely, unreservedly fantastic.

Full review.

Thank you for your review. I would buy one if they were available in the states!

The price seems too high, I can't see why any 'commercial' buyer would go for one over a vw caddy or a transit connect. Even a fiesta van. It's expensive and I can't see it being practical for many, if any commercial uses.

It could work out if the leasing deals are really good, which I imagine they will be. It would work well with my companies image, will be amusing to see people struggle to work out of them. Hah.

Yep. You've hit the nail on the head. The price is high due to daft BMW optioning but residuals should also be high due to solid BMW build.

I think most are bought by companies who want to show a particular image

Well very few made it into the states, however they did not sell well at all

Isn't that just a Mini Cooper Clubman with crappy rearward visibility? Doesn't look any larger.

Interesting, just read through the review. Do the seats on the Clubman fold flat? I guess that would be my only other question, could you buy a Clubman and just fold the seats down and accomplish the same thing?

Don't get me wrong the van aspect is pretty cool, just trying to figure it's just a Clubman with painted windows and no back seat though. :)

It is just a Clubman with no back seats. Unsure about them folding back. I think it exists because you can claim tax back if you are a company and buy a commercial vehicle

That's a good reason! I'll take one for my business! (looks to start business)

It was available in the states, but the Chicken Tax quickly killed it off as it ended up way more expensive than a regular Clubman. Just get a regular Clubby S, do a rear seat delete, and limo tint the rear windows and you've got yourself a homemade Clubvan.
