This was from when I was just beginning to learn CAD. I had hardly any dimensions to go off of, so most of this model was just estimated.

Having learned Pro/E on Wildfire 5.0, I can't find anything in Creo 2.0. Seriously, first time I tried making something I couldn't find the dimension tool to make it the right size. I was sad, then booted SolidWorks 2013, started CFD, and was instantly better.

I have no experience with Pro/E before the rebranding to CREO. I haven't really found CREO to be that troubling over the past year or so. That being said, I am slowly transitioning myself to Solidworks.

That is an interesting idea! I'll have to look into it.

The problem I have with Creo, is in Wildfire 5.0 there's a mix of text commands and side toolbars to do all the features, whereas in Creo it's all toolbar-based, similar to SolidWorks.
You shouldn't have an issue learning SolidWorks, most CAD software has gotten to the point where they all have the same features, just with different names on some commands.
