Oh you know the usual; working, hooning, tinkering, juggling various addictions
Haha
Anything new on your end?

Excellent.

Well new on my end? I'm back school. Spent two years out of college but I hope to see it through this time around.

I also finally have a car of my own, I inherited my Grandmother's Chevy Malibu LS. Nothing out of this world but it's a start.

Welcome/Salutations/Etc. as needed.

Of possible interest to you, an update on the Falcon Ranchero I told you about me getting: Got in a '60 grill to go on the bastard much like the one in this pic (a cool $30!)

I like the look of the recessed grill (pic courtesy Meguairs) and I think it'll go well with the fake hood scoop on the '63 - there's a rib keeping it from fitting, but my planned swap to forward hinging will fix that perfectly well. Might try to find an early bumper as well, or might get the '63 one rechromed after cutting out the turn signal holes for fog lights (grill signals just look damn better). I was toying with the idea of Mustang bumpers, but not completely sold there.

Wow that looks fantastic! Excellent colour.
I can see how the mustang bumpers would work; generally what works on a coupe works on a Ute

Still haven't really nailed down a color combo for mine: lots of colors work on that gen that don't work on other cars. Browns, metallic teals, etc. One possibility is brown lower, teal upper with cream stripe.

I like the idea of teal/cream

Perhaps you should check out some of the colour schemes on GT Falcons (mainly 67-72)

Like this GT Gold on a 67 XR GT

Damn, I fell asleep just as I was going to reply. Sorry.

I am studying computer science. During the break, I tried to finish my flight training but money and family issues got in the way. I'm only 15 hours away from getting my private pilots license so I'm definitely going to try and get it done.

My goal is to fly commercially someday.
